I never get tired of watching these…they all move me in one way or another.

  • Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade Indy’s leap of faith from the lion’s head
  • Casablanca Victor Laszlo leading the singing of “La Marseillaise”
  • The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly the stand-off between Blondie, Tuco, and Sentenza in the graveyard
  • It’s a Wonderful Life George reading Clarence’s note: “Remember, George: no man is a failure who has friends.”
  • Amadeus Mozart composing the Requiem from his deathbed
  • Gone With the Wind Melanie thanking Rhett for saving Ashley: “This isn’t the first time you’ve come between me and disaster, Captain Butler. It isn’t likely that I’d question any device of yours.”
  • Tommy Boy the car hood flipping up while Tommy and Richard are on the highway
  • The Sting Shaw revealing four jacks to beat Lonnegan in the crooked poker game
  • Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory Willy Wonka placing his hand on the Everlasting Gobstopper that Charlie leaves on his desk: “So shines a good deed in a weary world.”
  • The Untouchables “You got him?” “Yeah, I got him.” “Take him.”
